What are your delivery times?

All orders will be shipped out within 2 - 4 business days.

Please double check your shipping address and cart contents before ordering as we will not be able to make any amendments to it once orders have been placed. We cannot be held responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect given address. Should your order be returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will help to re-post it to you at your expense.

How much will shipping cost?

For Local Singapore orders

Thank you for your support! We are pleased to offer free local shipping on all orders with a min spent of SGD100. For orders below SGD100, a flat fee of $3.99 will be charged.

For International orders

We are pleased to offer overseas shipping to West Malaysia for RM110. Do allow 7-14 days for overseas shipping. These shipping rates are direct from the shipping courier, and we do not charge any mark-ups.

Also note that shipping fees paid during checkout do not include taxes and import duties.

Your parcel may be subjected to customs inspection and the assessment of duties and taxes will be in accordance with local regulations. At the checkout page, an estimate of these fees are provided by the shipping vendor. Please view this only as an estimate. If taxes and/or duties are incurred for your parcel, you will be responsible to cover the fees before delivery can proceed.

If you refuse the parcel upon delivery or if the parcel is unclaimed, the fees incurred for the return of the parcel (duties, taxes, return fees) will be payable by you before re-delivery can be arranged.

Returns & Exchanges

Eligibility for exchanges/ returns

Please note that we allow returns and exchanges only for defective products, and not for change of mind. Products are considered defective if they are received damaged, or if they become damaged within 14 days of purchase. Damage as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective. Defective product does not include the box packaging.

Exchanges/returns are strictly not applicable for sale, discounted and backorder item(s).

Also, to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging (eco-friendly cotton bag and original tube/box). 


Returns will be processed on a case by case basis, and subject to reasonable grounds.

All returns will be strictly refunded via store credits. Store credits are to be utilized for future purchases on our website, and strictly not eligible for use on any other 3rd party platforms or marketplaces.

All returned store credits are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issue - extension is strictly not permitted.

An admin fee of SGD 3 will be deducted from the return credits

Please arrange your own courier to ship the pre-approved item back to us. Cost of courier for returns to be fully borne by customer:

  • All additional costs incurred for the return (admin fee + courier fee + taxes) to be fully borne by the customer
  • Kindly make arrangements for the return parcel only after you've received an acknowledgement & approval email/ DM from Joiemakers.
  • Returns that do not fulfil all our conditions upon our final checks will be duly rejected and a fee for redelivery to send the rejected item back to you will be required.

Please ensure that you have attained the approval of our customer service team before proceeding with any returns/exchanges. Parcels that are not approved or formally initiated will be rejected. 

If your return is accepted, we will furnish you the address and instructions to send the item back to. For all returns, it is highly recommended that you use registered post or a trackable courier as we cannot accept responsibility for products lost in transit to us.

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you before processing a refund via store credits. Please note that it can take some time to process the refund of store credits into your account.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns nor refunds on sale items.


What surfaces can I use the Vertical Playmat on?

The Vertical Playmat features a strong adhesive backing most ideal for most non-textured, non-treated, clean, dry surfaces, and away from direct sun:

✔ Walls (without anti-stain treatment)

✔ Glass (without additional uv films)

The adhesive is unsuitable for delicate surfaces, such as:

✘ Wallpapers

✘ Walls with peeling paints

We also do not recommend removing and reapplying it multiple times, as this could weaken the adhesive.

Product Care: Vertical Playmat

1. Usage Tips:

  • The Vertical Playmat is compatible with most dry erase and water based markers. Avoid using permanent markers or sharp objects that could damage the surface.
  • To clean the decal, use a soft, damp cloth, wet wipes, or whiteboard eraser.

2. Storage:

  • When not in use, store the Vertical Playmat with its blue backing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

3. Removal & Reapplication:

  • If you need to remove the decal, carefully peel it off from a corner and reposition it as desired.
  • Do note that frequent removal and application may cause the adhesive to weaken over time.
Product Care: Wooden Playkit
  1. To prevent damage, avoid prolonged exposure to water and do not immerse the Wooden Playkit pieces in water. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the pieces clean if needed.
  2. Avoid placing the Wooden Playkit in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, as this may cause the wood to fade or discolour.
  3. Store the Wooden Playkit in a cool, dry place when not in use to protect it from dust and moisture.

Safety Precautions:

The Wooden Playkit contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard for children under 3 years. Always supervise playtime to ensure their safety.

Removing Marker Stains from Your Vertical Playmat

If your Vertical Playmat has been stained by markers, you can safely remove them with these steps:

  1. Initial Cleaning: Wipe all stains with a damp sponge.
  2. Deeper Stains: For persistent stains, use a damp melamine sponge and work in a circular motion.
  3. Stubborn Stains: If the stain persists, saturate a cloth with a whiteboard cleaner solution, blot the stain, and repeat.

Important Notes:

These stain removal techniques are intended FOR ADULT USE ONLY. Please refer to individual products for specific usage instructions and precautions.

While our recommended stain removal methods have demonstrated effectiveness in testing, we cannot guarantee identical results in every scenario.

Prior to attempting any stain removal procedure, it's advisable to conduct a patch test on an inconspicuous area of the material to ensure compatibility.

Colour disclaimer

We strive to accurately display the colours of our products, but please note that slight variations may occur due to differences in devices and settings. While we make every effort to ensure consistency, we cannot be held responsible for minor discrepancies between the product image and the actual item.

  • Please note that the colours of our Wooden Playkit may naturally fade over time due to the characteristics of natural wood and non-toxic paints used in the manufacturing process. Exposure to direct sunlight may accelerate this process. This natural fading does not affect the quality or functionality of the product and adds to its unique charm and character.

Is it possible to apply a discount code after placing an order?

It is important to enter any applicable discount codes during checkout, as we are unable to provide reimbursement if codes are not applied at that time.

How can I cancel my order?

To maintain efficiency in order processing, kindly ensure that the correct products have been selected prior to checking out your cart. All submitted orders are deemed as final and any amendments will not be entertained to avoid disruption to operations.

Order Tracking

After successfully checking out, you will receive a confirmation email from Joiemakers containing your order number. We will keep you updated on the status of your order and provide you with a tracking link once it has been shipped.

What if I receive a wrong product?

Lost Parcels

In the unfortunate event of a lost parcel, kindly contact the carrier directly as the owner of the parcel. To find out which carrier you have chosen at checkout, you may refer back to the confirmation email and click on “View your order” for details. While we would love to help, we cannot be responsible for parcels that are lost in transit.
